i can record to the computer from the camera, but once i'm done editing, i can't record back |

What kind of video capture card do you have? What kind of camera do you have? We can't answer your questions if you don't provide enough information!  |

i have a sony hi8 video camera. i'm not sure what kind of capture card i have. i don't even know what that is. i'm just starting out with this stuff. |

Kevin, try joining a computer or multimedia user group, if there are any in your area. It's a great way to network with poeple, and get some hands on experience with setting up NLE (non linear editing) equipment.Good luck! |

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. I USE A SONY 8 AND MY CAPTURE CARD HAS NO PORTS FOR EXPORTING THE VIDEO. I CAN ONLY SEE TWO SOLUTIONS.1) GET A NEW CAPTURE CARD 2)GET A PC TO TV CONVERTER. I SEE THEM IN THE MAIL ORDER CATALOGS I GET AND THEY RUN ABOUT $100. |
