I'v seen Ulitmatte plug-in for Adobe Premiere (Windows), but it is to expensive for me.
Do you know good plug-in for Premiere or stand-alone software for matting? Shareware or freeware would be the best.
Adobe "Bluebox" in Premiere is no good...

I've been searching for a cheaper keying solution myself and have come up short. You're not going to find a decent free/shareware program, though, if any at all. I'll try to let you know when I find one.

I don't know of any freebies that would do the job.

How much keying do you have to do? Maybe one of the members can help you out. I can try with my Video Action's built in keying software. If you're interested, send me a still of the foreground and background, and I'll send you back a composite.

Good luck!

Thanks you very much for your help, but I want it for experiments and using from time to time. For still images I use Photoshop and it is no problem to composite. But for avi and similar files I need somethong better than built-in chromakey from Premiere.

Maciej,

I found Puffin Designs' Composite Wizard. Looks pretty cool. It's $700 and is a plug-in for After Effects. If you don't have After Effects.....nevermind. I'm still searching.
