I was interested by a post on nailboards and machine gun effects. What exactly does this entail? Are there charges involved and if so are they safe and easy to obtain? |

I posted a reply where explained the working principle of a nailboard. The nailboard is a not a pyrotechnical device. Itīs a firing device. It can be used to fire pyrotechnical charges, control electric valves or anything that requires switching electricity on and off. To buy and handle pyrotechnical material requires a licence. The law differs from country to country, but usually this means that you must attend a course and sometimes also work as an assistant to a licenced pyro for a while. There are no such thing as a safe pyrotechnical charge. Machine gun hits can also be done with a paintball gun, with dust filled pellets. Klade |

Problem is that paintball guns and balls are expensive and hard to find where I am. Is there some way of making little electronic catapult devices or something that you can bury in the dirt? Or something that pops or something. I read a post about doing it with compressed air, but it looked complicated; I want to get like a row of impacts, one after yhe other (you know what I mean; we've all seen it) |

A user of this board has some cool designs for electric compressed air hits. He has pictures of the hits in water and they look good. He says they will work in dirt as well. I would try them. Hopefully someone knows the web address because I , sadly, do not. |
