I have a tough effect for my upcoming film.
A small child is digging in the mud when he pulls up a human head. I can't use a fake head and it has to be a real one. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just my opinion, but I don't think it would be a good idea to cut off a real persons head.(no offense)

How about if you remove the body digitaly, paint the person blue up to the neck and use chrome keying or something.

What the heck did I just say, can you actually do that?

WHY DOES IT NEED TO BE REAL??????? If it's a decapitated head a fake one will be perfect.

I agree with gore master. If it is going to be a decapitated head, use a fake one. If it will be a fresh one, than I think you'll have to make a few script modifications.

If it is a fresh one it will still look fine. There are different ways to make a fake head. As long as it doesn't move or make expressions.

You don't understand. the head is still connected to the dead body and we are going to use the real actor. WE just don't want to bury his entire body in the mud.

Well why didn't you say that in the first place?!
