hi ,me again. i bought this new i Link cable for my camera. now,i dont have an input on my brand new Dell computer!! help please?
Um, you have to make sure your computer comes with a DV card installed.

You would have had to buy the video editing Dell, there is one. So return the cable and buy a capture card, which comes with a cable
ha ha laugh all you want. I am not the smartest at computers, thanx.
Make sure the Firewire/iLink card you get is compatable with your camera. There are currently three different chipsets for firewire. So not all cameras and DV decks work with all captuer cards.
