Yes, Ilink is a cheasy name for Firewire which is the easy name for some dumb name (hehe) tahts like IEE13335 or somthing (which was made by apple)

...or something like that. IEEE 1394 is the standard as defined by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers. Apple's name for it is "Firewire". Sony's name for it is "i-Link".Technically, you don't need a "capture card". You need an IEEE 1394 card (IEEE 1394 is just a high speed serial interface, you can connect other devices, like disk drives, to it as well as digital camcorders). | |
