Hi,I want to do some blue screening in Adobe premiere. I have got the actual key to work quite well...ie sharp, minimal blue outlines etc. However i want to know how to apply a filter to only the subject in front of the screen. IE i want to change colors etc. Everytime i try, it affects the blue as well. Is there anyway to key out the blue so it is not affected by filters. thanks -Matho-

What kind of filter is it? |

easiest way that I can think of is blue screen it, render it, and then add your filter. Other wise you are going to have to do some sort of mask.------------------ Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most. -Ozzy Osborne (via Hackers) |

render is keyed out so it has an alpha channelim not sure if you can do this in premiere but try to make a seprate file as the alpha channel. apply filter then use the second file as the alpha key.

Thanks Guys.I will try to create a seperate mask file. The filter that i want to do seems simple. I want to be able to change the color of the actor or object in front of the screen, without affecting the blue of the screen. Thanks again. Matho |
