hey guys, i was (as i always am) watching nick. just curious if anyone knows what the slime they use is made out of. i had this huge fascination with it when i was younger, but i still dont know. i do have a couple ideas, metheylcellouse based or what?


not really important,i dont need it for anything...just wanted to know, but maybe it'll help someone out

Thats odd.
There was a tv programme over here about a month ago for kids where they showed you the guy who makes slime/gunk for the ITV kids programmes.
Sadly they wouldn't tell you what was in it. The guy claimed that it was 'secret ingredients' and only Childrens ITV had that top quality slime.

Actually its a deluted form of Gack..or not. Hehe..stick that stuff in your hair and you wont get it out for weeks.

I dunno. Ever heard of ooblek? It's corn starch and water with green food coloring. That might work. I've heard them say it tastes like pudding, so maybe it has sugar involved. It could be pudding.

Hehe Ooblek I remember that from 3rd grade our teacher said it was improrted from the planet ooblek or something..its a little too wierd..and not very slimey..more flanish...kinda..

here is the different slimes used on You can't do that on television.

SLIME #1

INGREDIENTS: vanilla pudding mix, Milk, clear syrup, green coloring

DIRECTIONS: Follow the pudding instructions, but lightly over saturate it with milk. Add syrup and coloring.

SLIME #2
INGREDIENTS: cottage cheese, Milk, green coloring

DIRECTIONS: Mix these babies up, and dump it all over yourself!

SLIME #3
INGREDIENTS: water, green jello powder, baby shampoo

DIRECTIONS: Mixed them up.

SLIME #4
INGREDIENTS: chilled green jello, green jello mix, water

DIRECTIONS: With chilled jello already made, follow the regular jello instructions, and set it out at room temperature until slightly thick. Mix jellos and add (optional) water.

SLIME #5
INGREDIENTS: oats, water, green coloring, baby shampoo

(This recipe was given by Muppet Magazine after being begged to find out how the slime was made that was dumped on Miss Piggy in the You Can't Do That On Television issue featuring the newly formed host, Alasdair Gillis.)

DIRECTIONS: Mix all ingredients, but add shampoo last and carefully to avoid suds.

INGREDIENTS: cooked oats, cold milk (or water), flour, green coloring

DIRECTIONS: Cook a bunch of oats and add COLD milk and/or water. Add flour, but do not make mixture too thick. Add green food coloring.

SLIME #7 (OFFICIAL)
INGREDIENTS: cream of wheat, cold water, shampoo, green coloring

DIRECTIONS: Mix `em up!

SLIME #8 (OFFICIAL)
INGREDIENTS: cream of wheat, cold water, shampoo, green coloring, liquid latex

DIRECTIONS: Mix 'em up! (just don't put too much latex)

SLIME #9 (from Double Dare's "Slime Canal")
INGREDIENTS: clear syrup, water, green coloring

DIRECTIONS: Mix water and syrup. Add coloring and dive in!

SLIME #10 (from Nickelodeon Studios)
INGREDIENTS: apple sauce, green coloring

DIRECTIONS: Mix 'em up!
