Sure they look nice..but I was wondering what do they look like on screen? When you cock them do you move the slide back all the way and it stays there like the gun had no bullets in it..or do you do something else and its slide still moves..just wondering because im considering getting a few..if nothing else Ill get a blank firing one from IAR-arms.com and get a bunch of cool looking spring pistols just to have..and film them from a distance so you can't see the slide moving.------------------ Beatles or Elvis man? |

Yeah I was having the same question as you about airsoft until i read their webpage more carefully - it says that they are REQUIRED to fix orange tips on all their guns, which obviously would NOT look good on camera. For now i would stick to IAR arms guns or call airsoft and see if those tips are at all possible to remove. (If you call post what they say or if you dont wanna call tell me and I guess I'll call 'em) Another place to check into for spring guns and other goodies is http://www.weaponsonline.co.uk/ |

I bought a fake Glock 17 from www.cheaperthandirt.com and it had an orange tip but it was easily twisted off with pliers. Also, when you pull back the slide to cock it, the slide does NOT stay back! It goes forward just like the real gun, and the thing is cocked internally. (Not that it matters, you wouldn't be firing the little blue balls in a movie anyway.) Here's a picture of it (center of layout): http://freeweb.pdq.net/smokin/cheaperthandirt.jpg |
