I know how to edit with my vcr I just need any tips or ideas to keep the film continous.------------------ If flinging dead hampsters at police cars makes you happy, then that makes two of us. VASELINE!!!- Burt Reynolds

I know what you mean. What you want to do, is edit with your vcr's and not have small gaps between the scenes. This can be done by getting your timing down perfectly, but that is nearly immpossible. If you have a dual vcr, which is made for editing and copying, then it is very difficult, but I will try to help you. Stack the vcr's so you can control them both quickly. When you want to transfer footage tape to tape, don't stop the footage tape. Rewind it a little bit. As the footage you want is coming on screen, quickly press rec on the other vcr. Just as the footage is coming to an end, press Pause (not stop) on the recording vcr. Then fast foward or rewind the footage tape until you are at the next scene. Repeat this proces until you have transfered all the scenes. Good luck.------------------ "May the Force be with you." |
