I'm looking for an old ten-count clip. Y'know, the old black and white (or sephia tone) screen with the numbers counting down with ten, with little dots on the side and a small rotating line? I suppose I could animate a new one, but if anyone has a clip of that in any format I would be greatly appreciative. Thanks! |

You could get one of those old disney movies and tape it on your vcr or camcorder... just a thought. Louis ps they are called ten-counts? i didn't know that!------------------ ================================================== Louis M. NextGen Production http://NextGenProductions.Hollywood.com/ Do you think I give a d--- about a Grammy? Half of you critics can't stomach me, let alone stand me. But Slim, what if you win, wouldn't it be wierd? Why? So you guys can lie just to get me there? So you can sit me next to Britney Spears? Christina Agulera better switch me chairs. So I can sit next to Carson Daly and Fred Durst, arguing over who she gave h--- to first. Little b---- put me on blast on MTV, he's cute but I think he's married to Kim, he he! -Eminem - "The Real Slim Shady" ========================= ========================= |

I know Premiere has them bundled in, but if you dont have it, then this suggestion wont work. Yeah, probably just tape it off an old newsreel. |

You have got to be kidding? Where the heck is it in the premiere cd?!?! I just yesterday had to make one. That would have saved me SOOOO much time, and probably looked beter as well.------------------ Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most. -Ozzy Osborne (via Hackers) |

hbtl_ofndr, It's called a counting leading. You know how to create a colour matte in Premiere? (create/color matte) Select counting leader instead and voila! BTW, I made a counting leader from scratch, about 2 years ago. I didn't know there was one in premiere then. If anyone wants to see it, I can upload it somewhere... |

The way to get it is either create--universal counter leader, or import--UCL. I have to check, but Create--UCL is it, I think. You can even choose colors and beeps. Pretty cool. |

Unbelieveable! There it was, right under the nosey. Thanks very much, I will use this quite often... Oooh, you know what I'll do? I'll render it, then add film scratches and some dust to it. Would post somewhere too for others that don't have Premiere to use. Do you think Adobe would get mad at that? |

Sorry Chimpoid, I just realized I deleted the clip last weekend. It was in a zip file I thought I no longer needed... But believe me it was really good! Damn it, now I'm gonna cry... ------------------ ======================= Jean-Francois Robichaud |

I really like Premiere's UCL, but I thought it was a bit blah. So I added a letterbox and some film look to it. Turned out pretty well. I'll try to post it tomorrow.------------------ Si amas algo dejalo libre, si regresa es tuyo, si no nunca lo fue.

Just as a note, to look more professional if some of you do not know, you make it countdown till 2 and then have 2 seconds of silence and black and then the production. It can make you look just a tad more pro at times. |
