Any one have any ideas how to get Mesh Smooth to work with out putting a baloon like line down the middle of my model (made in two halves?) Also, How come when I render a scene, the photo doesn't fit the model, but it seems to do so in the Preview box... Any ideas? |

Not quite sure wjat you mean by a baloon like line, but I'd say the reason Meshsmooth isn't working is because you haven't joined the two halves together. Use Attach to get the two halves into the same object if you didn't already. Select all the vertices at the seam, set a suitable threshold and click on "Weld Selected".For the second problem, my guess is that you need to right click the viewport label and Check "Show Safe Frame". Now the photo won't fit the model in the viewport any more either, so you'll have to adjust it, but at least the two will be consistent... |

Thats exactly why the balloon effect. Use smooth selected vertices when attach/welding to get a real nice seam.Mapping? You have a UVW Mapping mod. in the stack? Check your settings. Alternately try seperating mapping groups. Chimp | |
