Alright, I have seen many different messages on ways to do the effects from the movie "The Matrix." I'm going to ask a question about every (interresting)effect in the movie. Question 1: Bullet Time - Benny has some good tutorials on this, if anyone else has good information or links about this reply. Question 2: Adding 3D anamation in with real video - what are the best programs to add 3D models etc. in with video from a camcorder and how hard is it to do? Question 3: The long jump - How do you do this, other than the fact that it requires a blue screen. (I want to see the person jump, go off camera, then see him flying through the air just like how Morpheus leaped) Question 4: Bullets and bullet trails - Benny has a real neat tutorial on how to do this. Making the trail get longer frame by frame and fading in the rear, is this hard? Question 5: 360' Camera Rotation - Benny also talks about this but I don't like how its done. It offers 360' but requires a lot of work and the right programs. I heard about doing a little bit of a rotation. Like, putting a camera at one point, and another fairly close, but far enough to give a rotation effect. The with Avid Elastic Reality go in and top off the effect. Anyone know anything about this? Question 5: Freeze Frame - How do you stop on one frame and hold it for a certain duration?-Answer any of the questions if you can, or add some I didn't ask that happened in the movie. Yes I know these have been ask before but scattered and thats annoying. thx -BigJigga |
