A cynical person is one who, when they smell flowers, look for a coffin.
If it is integrally tied to the story - i.e. we must see it to understand key elements of the script, many people won't argue against it on an artistic basis.
You'll turn some people off immediately, some you will thrill.
If it is a student film, it is likely to be seen as a cheap stunt to cover lack of film making ability.
Apart from the age of the film makers and the level of their expertise, it is a choice. "Jiggle" (like gore) used gratuitously will please some people but will cast doubt upon how serious a lot of people take the picture.
Personally I don't think it is the downfall of society, or likely to erradicate morals and cause rioting on the streets. In terms of theatrical releases - done for a reason and done well, it's fine with me. Done badly it makes a picture cheesey.

Sure there's no "I" in team, but there is an "M" and an "E".
Passion could be conveyed to an extreme manner through kissing. Unfortunately people no longer write stories and scripts which utilise humans natural passion and in order to show passion they say that people have to be naked or they have to have sex.
I get turned off the whole story whent hey put a chepa sex scene with some kenny G music in the background. If i wanted to see sex I can get hours worth on video or betteryet do the real thing.
I believe that audiences get turned on more when there is more subtle sexual references such as really skimpy outfit sexy legs or a womans breasts being really large rather than give up on he mystique of her body and strip it down. As far s guys go well there are obvious reasons I dont like to see naked men....
